- Air Conditioning (A/C) blows hot air.
- Heater blows cold or cool air.
In most cases, the Equinox heat blows cold air. The reason this is more likely is that the blend door and related parts are stressed when the door is placed in position to push air past the heating system. To that end, if your 2006 Equinox's heat isn't working, consider the possibility of a broken blend door.
